Area Director - Care Homes Location: Wales Position: Area Director - Care Homes Pay: £70,000 per annum + Car allowance Hours: 40 hours per week Contract type: Permanent

As the Area Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and strategic direction for a portfolio of care homes in Wales. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Your role will involve:

Leadership of a group of Home Managers and Senior Home Manager/s to deliver quality care. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate the performance of each home, ensuring adherence to quality standards and financial targets. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including local authorities, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations, ensuring compliance and adapting strategies accordingly.

To be considered for the role we are looking for someone with:

Proven experience in a senior management role within the healthcare sector, preferably in nursing/residential homes. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the healthcare industry. Strong commercial knowledge - budgeting, occupancy. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality care. A strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
