About the Opportunity The Area Engineering Manager (AEM) role is to deliver a portfolio of projects in the Front End Delivery Team (FED) to support the safe operation of Sellafield Facilities. The successful candidate will lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver a technical solution for a portfolio of projects that meets the corresponding requirements, associated performance conditions and constraints in the Functional or Requirements Specification for the area, to the agreed time, cost and quality. Identify the root cause of problems experienced on operational facilities Elicit and agree requirements with the Client Lead the decision making to identify the scope required to meet the client requirements Develop delivery strategies for the timely implementation of the agreed solution Conduct the Principle Designer role associated with the projects being delivered.
