Area Sales Engineer Industrial Electrical Control & Automation Salary:

On behalf of our Client, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Development Engineer, with a proven track record as a business developer and excellent salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry to join the team of this first-class business. Responsibilities: Sell a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, including PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear & Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI, and Process Instrumentation. Target OEM, End User, System Integrator, and Panel Builder markets throughout the North West quarter of England. Develop and manage a personal plan to achieve defined sales targets. Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities. Demonstrate product and customer market knowledge and sales ability. Qualifications: Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry. A formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential. Good organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to be an effective team player. Capability with Microsoft packages. As is usual with Sales roles, the successful candidate will be self-driven to achieve success, customer-focused, and capable of dealing with sometimes complex situations in order to achieve business wins.
