Area Sales Engineer (Factory Automation) - South East UK - £40-50k About the Company: The company is a global manufacturer of Factory Automation/Sensors and IIoT solutions, helping customers across a wide range of industries. The candidate will have ideally sold industrial automation and control products (Sensors, HMIs, Drives, Machine Safety, Metrology, etc). About the Role: The Area Sales Engineer role will involve developing relationships with new and existing customers such as OEM/Machine builders across a varied range of industries - Food & Bev, FMCG, Packaging, End of Line machinery, Pharmaceuticals, Utilities, etc. Responsibilities: Work as part of a Sales Team, performing joint visits from time to time. Maintain a company CRM system with contact information, sales opportunity information, and activity information. Display a technical understanding of the company’s products and services to new and existing customers. Organise sales visits, product demonstrations, and reference visits. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Sales, Engineering, or Consulting. Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills. Required Skills: Analytical mindset, team player, strong leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Skills: Experience in automation.
