As an Area Sales Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our success across the Central Belt of Scotland. You will be the face of Sulzer to your customers supporting solutions, driving growth and promoting face to face relationship building. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain strong connections with both existing and potential clients. Understand their unique challenges and collaborate to create bespoke solutions that meet their needs. Carry out in-depth research within your region to uncover new sales leads, particularly for electric rotating machinery maintenance, including generators, motors, and transformers. Provide insightful market feedback to continuously enhance Sulzer's offerings. Offer support and guidance to customers, showcasing Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems. Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. What You’ll Need to Succeed: A proven track record in technical sales with a deep understanding of the sales process. Extensive knowledge of electric rotating machinery, including motors, generators, and transformers. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset. Residence within the Central Belt of Scotland is preferred. Ideal locations include Falkirk, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, and nearby areas. A Full UK Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel within your assigned area.
