We have a superb opportunity for an experienced technical sales engineer to join a leading and progressive company as Regional Sales Engineer for a range of Process Instrumentation & Control products & solutions. In this role as a field-based technical sales engineer, you will be looking to achieve profitable business sales of the range of pressure, flow, temperature, and level sensor products along with control valves and actuators. To be successful, you will require knowledge and experience with these types of products and ATEX understanding. You will also have access to a full product range of control system components and solutions along with support from your colleagues to provide a complete package and solution to customer requirements. This regional territory covers the North of England, so there is flexibility on location, allowing you to be based in North West, Manchester, Stockport, Stoke on Trent, or West Yorkshire, Leeds, Huddersfield, South Yorkshire, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham. Your Key Responsibilities: To open up new business opportunities, as well as managing existing clients. Sell the range of products to OEMs and end users within the relevant sectors. Articulate an in-depth understanding of the technical side of the process instrumentation and control products. Network and build relationships to generate opportunities. The Candidate: For this technical field sales engineer position, prospective candidates must have experience with process instrumentation and control products and applications, including pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors, valves, and actuators. Business to business (B2B) field sales experience in a relevant sector as an Area Sales Manager/Engineer or Regional Sales Manager/Engineer is essential. An engineering qualification in the industry such as ONC, HNC, or a degree level in an engineering subject is ideal but not mandatory.
