Area Sales Engineer - Industrial Electrical Control & Automation
Salary:

About the Role:
On behalf of our Client, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Development Engineer, with a proven track record as a business developer and excellent salesman in the Electrical Control and Automation industry to join the team of this first-class business.
Responsibilities:
Selling a range of high-quality Industrial Automation products, including PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear & Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI, and Process Instrumentation.
Target markets include OEM, End User, System Integrator, and Panel Builder throughout the North West quarter of England.
Develop and manage an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
Work towards defined sales targets and personal objectives.
Demonstrate product and customer market knowledge and sales ability.
Qualifications:
Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry.
A formal qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential.
Further career development training to enhance sales skills is a plus.
Capable of dealing with complex situations to achieve business wins.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft packages.
Location:
Suitable candidate locations are likely to include Manchester and South of Manchester down to Stafford, such as Warrington, Altrincham, Stockport, Knutsford, Stoke on Trent, Stafford.
