Essential Experience
Experience in a sales role, managing existing customers & developing new business. Knowledge of wine and spirits. WSET qualifications are desirable but willingness to learn & develop is essential. Strong analytical skills to ensure you can analyse customer performance and identify trends and opportunities to drive profitability. Planning and organisational skills to enable execution of customer events to boost product knowledge and impact sales. IT competency with strong working knowledge of Excel. Comfortable navigating CRM systems. Use social media effectively to remain connected and up-to-date with both your customers and the industry. Working Environment
Travel and nights away are part of the job Attendance at trade events and customer entertaining as and when required. Working from home and out in the field - so you will require accomplished time management and planning skills. A driving licence and willingness to travel is also essential. Resilience under pressure and an ability to manage priorities in a role that isn’t 9am-5pm Success Measures
Achieve volume and margin targets with both existing and new customer accounts. Working in close partnership with the Commercial & Finance teams. Selling the full range of our IM product portfolio while aiming to be wine & spirits-led in your approach. Assist credit control to manage customer debt and reduce debtor days.
