We are seeking a driven and experienced UK Sales Manager to work for a leading metrology company being responsible for leading our clients' sales efforts. You will directly report to the Commercial Director, the role is focused on driving sales, increasing brand awareness, and developing long-term customer relationships to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and strengthen its market presence. Achieve growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain productive relationships with key decision-makers in customer accounts. Foster long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them to understand their needs and offering tailored solutions. Introduce new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture target demographics and increase market share. Promote the company's existing products and services while introducing new offerings to the market. Research and identify new marketing opportunities, understand customer needs, and recommend improvements to meet business goals. Develop and implement effective sales and advertising plans to reach new markets and demographics. Regularly engage with new and existing customers to anticipate future opportunities and strengthen relationships. Stay up to date with industry trends through conferences, workshops, and continuous learning. Monitor sales performance and suggest operational improvements to drive profit growth. Conduct market research and use lead referrals to identify and capitalize on potential business opportunities. Ensure sales targets and revenue goals are met or exceeded consistently. Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer quotations. Provide regular KPI and sales performance reports to the Commercial Director. Adhere to company health and safety policies and guidelines.

Required Skills & Attributes: Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities. Experience in data analysis and report generation. Ability to follow company policies and procedures while working under pressure. Familiarity with metrology processes is a plus.

Experience: Prior experience in a similar sales role is essential.
