A genuinely exciting Area Sales Manager/Business Development Manager position has arisen with this well-established, leading manufacturer of street lighting and road safety products. LOCATION:
You will cover London and the Southeast as a territory and will ideally live in close proximity to the M25. You will work from home when you are not out visiting clients.
SALARY:
£55k to £80k as a basic salary (depending on experience) with performance-related bonuses, giving another £10k on top. You will receive a fully expensed company car, fuel card, pension, and 20 days annual leave.
You will be selling a wide range of street lighting solutions including lighting columns, aluminium lighting columns, and decorative lighting to London Boroughs, Local Authorities, and the contractors associated with them.
Responsibilities: Manage an account base of local authority and contractor accounts. Hunt for new projects within these accounts. Expand on the product range and increase spend with each account. Manage your own diary and book your appointments. Spend 4 days a week out on the road and 1 day a week working from home.
Minimum Requirements: Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and ideally you will have knowledge and experience selling street lighting. However, if you have a technical bias, can win projects and have experience selling to local authorities and contractors, then please apply ASAP! Interviews will be happening imminently!
