Join us as an Area Sales Manager, covering the South West! (Regular Travel) The Cedral slates area sales manager role will be to profitably and efficiently nurture and develop your network of accounts and stakeholders. You will be required to build and develop relationships with key decision makers and specifiers including architects, local authorities, housing associations, housebuilders, distributors, stockists and roofing contractors. You will be responsible for direct sales success of our roofing products and accessories and promotion in the market place of new products launches. What you’ll do: Manage and develop a network of account holding Stockists, distributors and direct account roofing contractors. Identify and build relationships with non-trading roofing contractors. Drive results by planning and carrying out proactive activities to maintain and develop profitable sales. Proactive Project management, nurturing and developing both current and future roofing opportunities. Accurate and efficient opportunity management and development recording using the company CRM system. Attend relevant exhibitions, conferences, and other functions. Collaboration with partner colleagues within the Etex business, including key account managers and business development managers. Regular liaison with other company departments including customer services, technical and marketing. What you’ll bring: Experience within the roofing/construction industry in a field based role. A proven history of personal sales account growth whilst contributing to overall team success is essential. A track record of efficient and profitable account management. Confident interpersonal and presentation skills including CPD delivery. Proficient use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
