AREA SALES MANAGER - up to £60k DOE

My client is a global and very reputable Metal Cutting manufacturer and due to expansion & investment, we are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to come on board to cover all of the Midlands region, so you could be based in either the East or West Midlands. As this is a field-based position, a valid driver license is essential (Max 6 points).
The successful candidate will be involved with delivering sustainable and profitable sales growth and will look after key customers.
Ideally, you will already be in a Sales role and have a sound knowledge of Cutting Tools, although engineers with a time-served technical knowledge and ambitions to work in a field-based commercially focused role will be considered.
Key responsibilities for the Area Sales Manager: Remote working internally and externally. Working with existing customers and newly developed customers. Providing support to clients across multiple sectors. Accountable for developing company customer base and market area.
The successful Area Sales Manager will have: Be apprentice trained and currently within a Pre Sales/Sales role. Knowledge of Cutting Tool and Machining Processes. Confidently demonstrate solutions and benefits to the end user whilst on site. Good organization skills and a positive attitude.
Package & Benefits: Base salary of up to £60K DOE. 15%-20% OTE. Company Car (Hybrid option). All equipment needed for the role. Enhanced Private Medical (Full family cover)/Life Insurance & Death in Service and a superb overall benefits package. Ongoing Training & Progression Opportunities.
