We have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Portakabin Scotland team to build strong long-lasting customer relations with existing and new clients! This role will be target-driven, focusing on work-winning activity, where you should maximize all opportunities to promote Portakabin products and services through reactive and proactive approaches. You will work alongside Bid, Projects, and Service teams, and be a strong communicator, organized, work with accuracy, attention to detail, and have a strong teamwork ethic. Role Details

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 plus commission based on performance Commission: Attractive commission scheme paid quarterly Role based: Hamilton, ML3 0EJ Contract type: Permanent Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays Role Responsibilities

Achieve outlined turnover and margin targets for your area Identify and develop new business opportunities and sectors undertaking targeted business development activity Visit customer sites to provide advice and develop solutions Ensure that all sales enquiries generated are thoroughly followed up to fully maximize all opportunities Achieve all KPIs for opportunity and visit numbers Maintain CRM with accurate data daily Promote a culture of Health and Safety by taking management responsibility for ensuring safe working and consideration for health and wellbeing. We are looking for someone who has: Proven commercial experience, including face-to-face sales experience and business development Strong experience of carrying out business development activities (campaign calling and cold calling) Full UK driving licence Keeps up to date with competitor information and market trends Target Driven Listens, consults others, and communicates proactively First stage interviews will take place w/c 27th January 2025!
