Join us as an Area Sales Manager based in the United Kingdom, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and drive the sales of NORIT products within

Northern UK and Ireland territory . Your performance will directly impact the achievement of sales and profit metrics set by the company.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Manage sales territory in the Northern part of UK and Ireland and sell Norit products, generating target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from customer base. Develop volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results. Drive both current and future value for Norit by building a shared understanding of the individual customer and overall portfolio profitability. Effectively communicate and negotiate complex sales contracts with customers. Educate customers on new products and product enhancements; articulate and present product features and benefits. Identify new market opportunities as well as target builds; seek out competitive information. Lead Norit's efforts to establish levels of excellence in sales and distributor management and customer service. Provide leadership that assists management in setting strategic initiatives and programs to achieve corporate strategies. Consistent use of Salesforce.com as the main CRM tool. Requirements:

Minimum 5 years external sales experience. Previous experience of selling activated carbon is very desirable. Bachelor's science degree. Technical Excellence - knowledgeable about Norit's technical capabilities, the applications in which we perform, and how we complement performance in the customers' applications. Commercial Skills - possess knowledge of the markets and applications in which Norit's products add value and can effectively communicate that value. Communication and Presentation Skills - ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, direct, concise, clear, relevant, and delivered with the appropriate style and tone. Customer Relationship Management - establish and maintain appropriate relationships with customers to enable the execution of Norit's strategic goals. Business Savvy - knowledgeable about all functional elements that are important for business profitability. New Opportunity Advancement - ability to utilize knowledge of Norit's capabilities to develop, recognize and advance opportunities where Norit can provide solutions to customer needs and obtain new business.
