required to join a market leading supplier of Industrial Automation and Electrical products.

The successful candidate shall work fully remote, covering the Midlands and the Northwest, responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts with Consultants, Contractors, and indirectly via panel builders / distributors and OEM customers to exceed the annual area sales target for control panel components such as cable systems, circuit breakers, current transformers, switchgear, circuit protection, industrial connectors, PLC's, power supplies, and other electrical / electronic related products.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have a proven background selling or servicing electrical engineering products, components, or systems. Full product training provided.

Role Responsibilities Responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts with Consultants, Contractors, and indirectly via panel builders / distributors and OEM customers to exceed the annual area sales target for control panel components. Provide a consultative sales approach, including technical support, product specifications, and demonstration of all electronic related products and components. Target OEM customers within the electrical engineering industry such as Panel Builders, Machine Builders, System Integrators, and a number of distributors. Work remotely, visiting customers across the Midlands and Northwest to ensure customer requirements are met. Liaise with various Engineering departments.

Requirements Experience as a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar within an Electrical / Electronic environment, or related technical engineering industry. Experience selling a technical engineering product related to the electrical / electronics industry such as generators, UPS, transformers, PLC's, motors, industrial automation, temperature control, cable and wiring solutions, testing and measurement equipment, or similar technical engineering products. Electrical / Electronic Service Engineers with experience of PLC's, switchgear, circuit breakers, connectors, transformers, control panels etc. looking to progress into a commercial sales role are strongly advised to apply. A technical electrical engineering qualification is advantageous. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable electrical engineering supplier. Willingness to travel across the Midlands and Northwest of the UK.
