We sell a high-value proposition that will sometimes involve a long and complex sales cycle. Home-based and working independently, the Area Sales Manager will develop new customer relationships, promoting Girbau products to meet sales objectives. What You’ll Do Building new relationships and sales within your defined territory Generate new business through active prospecting, self-generated appointments and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system. Keep the Salesforce CRM system up to date with prospecting activity and future pipeline. Manage your own diary of meetings to generate sales of the range of commercial laundry equipment on a purchase or rental basis. Take ownership of your sales territory to build and develop relationships Expand Girbau’s reputation within the marketplace in core identified sectors. Attend trade shows, workshops and exhibitions as appropriate. Meet minimum KPI’s for both activity and results. About You A highly motivated attitude towards targets, goal orientated with a passion to succeed A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles Career driven, professional and credible with the flexibility to go the extra mile in order to achieve personal and team targets Excellent presentation skills Previous Commercial Laundry sector experience is preferred but not essential Excellent organisational skills Comfortable with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays to meet prospective new customers or attend internal meetings Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to converse at all levels Full UK driving licence A bit about the role: Location : Field Based role in the North West of England Hours : 40 hours per week If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you.
