Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Roofing Sheet, Rooflights and Roofing Accessories Industry Sector: Roofing Merchants, Builders Merchants Area to be covered: North Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 + up to £10,000 Bonus Benefits: Fully Expensed Hybrid Car & Full Benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager will involve: Field sales role, selling the company’s distributed range of Roofing Sheet, Rooflights and Roofing Accessories. Promoting a huge portfolio of products. Selling into 70% builders merchants and 30% roofing merchants. Responsible for circa 200+ builders merchants/ roofing merchants accounts. Inherit a turnover between £3m-£4m, currently performing in line with budget expectations. Working for a market leading national plastics distributor. Launching a wide range of new products, providing large scope for business development. The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager with: Experience selling to builders merchants or roofing merchants. Open to all building product backgrounds. Strong business development and relationship-building skills. High energy levels and a go-getter mentality. 2-3 years proven field sales territory management experience. CRM proficient with strong numeracy, IT capability, communication & organizational skills.
