For the Trade sales team of our Panels division, we are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Area Sales Manager responsible for the UK/Ireland region. Unilin Panels is the reference in wooden board material for both the construction and interior sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability, design, and innovation. Its product range includes chipboard, MDF, decorative panels, and mezzanine floors. The overall aim is to promote and sell, after your induction period, this wide product range to our distributors. Your responsibilities: As Area Sales Manager, you execute the commercial strategy for enhancing the regional market share and the positioning of the assigned product segments. You organize regular visits to customers and prospects within your region, providing them with the necessary guidance, support, and training for their local salespeople while building strong professional relationships. You continuously look for partners, giving them a clear and attractive presentation of our high-quality products and novelties, mainly focusing on added-value products. You closely cooperate with our internal sales, planning, and calculation team. You follow up on market trends and competitors within the Trade Segment. You analyze and understand the market by identifying trends and ensuring that Unilin is well-positioned to capitalize on sales opportunities. You participate in exhibiting and visiting fairs to increase brand awareness in the market. You map out market evolutions, actions, and market positions of the competition through your direct customer contacts and network. You report to the National Sales Manager UK/Ireland. You work from home in combination with travel days to clients (up to 50% of your time). Who are you?

You are based in the UK, covering the market from London to Birmingham. You have a higher education level or equivalent relevant experience. You have at least 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the building materials industry. You are an entrepreneur who loves to build new collaborations and knows where to detect the right opportunities. You are customer-oriented with strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills. You are flexible, independent, and keen to travel (up to 50% of your time). You are willing to travel to Belgium (HQ) during your onboarding period and once a year for the international sales meeting. You are a fluent communicator with excellent commercial and analytical skills. What can you expect?
