Our client, a leading asset financier, is seeking an additional Area Sales Manager to join their Construction and Recycling team. This role is focused on financing construction and recycling assets. Transactions are sourced directly from customers or dealers, and you may engage with specialist lease brokers in this sector. The average transaction size is £102,000 with an average term of 44 months. Our client's credit acceptance rate is among the best in the sector, allowing for higher margins and significant income potential. Targets are realistic, especially as the position primarily involves new business development. In your first 6 months, you will focus on building a pipeline without a hard target. Commission is paid on every deal you close with no initial hurdle. An annual bonus is also available once you reach a specific threshold. We will share commission rates and bonus structures only with candidates who meet the outlined qualifications. Candidate Profile To apply, you need experience in asset finance sales and a proven track record of success. You should be located in Southern England or possibly South Wales. Experience in construction or recycling asset classes is preferred, but candidates with a background in hard asset finance are also welcome. This role requires deal-closing experience, as it is not a flow sales aid position. Success in this role requires the ability to cold call, network for referrals, and build relationships with dealers and brokers. Customer contact is crucial for success. When you find a deal, you must be able to close it, ideally at the first meeting. Our client offers HP, Finance Lease, and specializes in Refinance solutions. The potential for high earnings and career growth is significant for ambitious achievers.
