To provide a high quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.

Responsibilities *

To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all students in consultation with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and HOF *

To teach Art and Design to groups of students from all abilities according to their educational needs and levels of ability, to include GCSE provision *

In consultation with the Headteacher/SLT undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school’s curriculum *

To evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning in Art and Design and progress towards meeting agreed targets across the school relentlessly focusing on the improving of teaching and learning *

To secure, in collaboration with the SLT, high standards of teaching and learning in Art and Design *

Contribute to a lively and stimulating environment within the Art and Design department Qualifications Required

Teaching qualification (QTS) Previous experience of teaching Art and Design
