About the role The school is looking for an Art & Design Technician to support pupils with their learning in both practical and theoretical aspects of art and design. As an Art & Design Technician, you will be responsible for: Providing support in the maintenance and development of materials and resources. Carrying out appropriate duties when requested by the Head of Department. Loading and emptying the kiln (training will be provided). Assisting in the setting up and operation of machinery and equipment. Providing support and guidance to staff and students using technical equipment and training where necessary in its correct and safe use, especially in 3D design. Making a significant contribution in the preparation for, and setting up of, exhibitions, framing and displays as directed by the Head of the Department. Am I suitable? Relevant qualifications in Art & Design Experience in a similar role or relevant field Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students
