DESCRIPTION As an Art Manager at BULKHEAD, you'll play a crucial role in managing the creation of art assets, ensuring quality and timely delivery. This role will see you working alongside production to roadmap asset delivery based on historical velocity data as well as content delivery deadlines, and you will be instrumental in building the pipeline to deliver against this. You will also work closely with the art department to ensure quality bars are being hit and assets are being created in a suitable way for the project’s needs, keeping optimisation in mind. This is an in-studio role, and this is non-negotiable; however, we can offer bespoke relocation packages. // RESPONSIBILITIES -Work closely with the Art Director to ensure that art teams deliver assets that meet our quality standards. -Work closely with Production to ensure delivery of assets on time. -Create and maintain content delivery roadmaps, in keeping with the project schedule. -Monitor and streamline production workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. -Foster a collaborative and motivated atmosphere within the team, resolving any issues promptly and amicably. // REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -Working knowledge of at least one game art discipline (3D modelling, animation, UI) with a solid understanding of all game art disciplines. -Ability to provide constructive feedback on art processes. -Strong project management and leadership abilities. -Pragmatic and autonomous approach to identifying and solving problems. -Recognize areas for improvement and adapt workflows within an agile environment. -Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to different situations and stakeholders. -Proficiency in tools used for project management and tracking. -Meticulous attention to detail at all stages of production. In addition, we expect you to have: -2+ years of experience in art production or a similar role, within the video games industry. -Up to date knowledge of cutting-edge art development workflows
