within the North Mental Health and Trauma Services Platform. Barnardo's North Mental Health and Trauma Platform We deliver a wide range of services which support the emotional health needs of children, young people and families. Across the Platform, Therapists and Team Managers work with children and young people, their carers and other professionals. They work flexibly, meeting service users at times and in venues that suit their needs. They work in partnership with staff from social care, health, schools, and other agencies in the best interests of service users. Therapists are supported by qualified and experienced managers and provided with external supervision. BOSS

provides emotional health support and counselling for children and young people. As a service, we support children and young people through a range of therapy including counselling, art and play therapy, and solution-focused interventions. We work in collaboration with St Helens CAMHS to adopt the Thrive Model of care for all children in the borough. All referrals are sent to the Single Point of Access. You will have received a job description and person specification for a Project Worker 2 post; we are looking for an experienced Art Therapist qualified to Diploma level or above, with a range of experience supporting young people with their mental health needs. Role Requirements: Qualified to Diploma level or above in one or more of a range of therapy modalities such as Integrative, Person-Centred Counselling, CBT, Art, Play, or Solution-Focused Therapy. Registered with your professional body (e.g., BACP, HCPC, etc.). Understanding of the specific emotional wellbeing and mental health needs of children and young people. Experience and/or ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good local knowledge of support systems and organisations. Willingness to work within the Barnardo's CSSO Framework (Child Directed, Strengths Based, Systems Focused, Outcome Informed) to guide interventions and use the Child Outcome Rating Scale (CORS) and Session Rating Scale (SRS) within all interventions. Willingness to work flexibly across the week. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday with some flexible working hours and travel across the borough as well as our base, which is co-located with St Helens CAMHS team in The Birch Unit, Peasley Cross Hospital. We are looking for experience of working in a challenging emotional wellbeing and mental health service with a high referral rate. You will be able to work collaboratively with CAMHS and other education and social care professionals to ensure children and young people access the right service at the right time using the Thrive Mental Health Care Model. Able to evidence continuous professional development? Capable of providing specialist experience within the team? Experienced in multi-agency working? Experienced in supporting children and young people with their mental health?
