(SC3490) ARTWORKER - EXHIBITIONS / LARGE FORMAT PRINT WEST MIDLANDS £30-35K DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Free Parking + Breakfast Our client has been building award-winning exhibition stands for nearly 25 years, and with recent investment in large format print capabilities, they are looking for an Artworker to join their team. You will be responsible for tasks such as checking artwork received, preparing supplied print files for final production, producing print proofs and print files, and occasionally artwork creation/graphic design. Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly review and verify received design files against specifications supplied by the project management team. Amend, retouch and, where necessary, rework artwork files created by clients' designers ensuring files are correctly formatted and print-ready. Create accurate print proofs for client approval, ensuring they accurately represent the final printed product. Facilitate client review and approval processes directly with clients or via the project management team. Maintain high standards of service by ensuring artwork accuracy. Respond promptly to inquiries regarding artwork and proofs. Collaborate closely with the print production team to ensure seamless integration of artwork into the printing process. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other departments to clarify requirements and resolve artwork-related issues. Continuously seek ways to streamline the artwork preparation process for enhanced efficiency. Requirements:

Artwork and graphic design skills. Experience in print production and proof creation with a strong understanding of print processes, file preparation, and proofing. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to troubleshoot file issues and solve problems that may arise during the artwork preparation process. Knowledge of typography, colour theory, and layout principles. Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with clients and the wider team. Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
