THE FOLLOWING VACANCY HAS BEEN ADVERTISED EXTERNALLY Anti-Social Behaviour Researcher and Support Worker Leeds Anti-Social Behaviour Team Leeds 2 Full Time Permanent Posts £26,106 - £28,653 Contracted hours - 37 West Yorkshire Police are seeking to appoint a researcher to join our dynamic team within the Anti-Social Behaviour department. In this role you will research, input and extract data/information to assist neighbourhood officers, local authority and various housing associations from the force computer systems and other departmental systems in order for them to carry out effective investigations into reports of anti-social behaviour. The right candidate will provide information in a local agreed format when formally requested by partner agencies to support investigations in accordance with current local information exchange protocol. You must ensure the integrity of the information held and provided both internally and externally is maintained in accordance with Data Protection procedures. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the police tackling anti-social behaviour and improving community safety. The role is based at Elland Road police station, but it also offers agile working, allowing flexibility in how, when and where you work between various police stations and local authority buildings. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of ASB legislation, policies and frameworks. You will have the ability to work collaboratively within a team with external partners and police personnel. The right candidate will pay strong attention to detail and have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The 2024 version of the Competency Values Framework applies to this process.
