This is a fantastic opportunity available for a multi-skilled Asbestos Consultant/Surveyor Analyst to work for one of the UK’s fastest growing Health and Safety Consultancies! With UKAS accreditation and a large portfolio of clients in the private sector, our client offers a full range of specialist services in the Asbestos Management sector.
Due to the acquisition of long-term contracts, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and quality driven Asbestos Consultant to join their close-knit team. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to progress your career as you will get involved in Project Management duties which will then lead you into this career path in the near future.
Key Duties of an Asbestos Consultant:
Completing Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys across large commercial type premises Carrying out asbestos air tests, asbestos fibre counts, 4-stage clearance testing Producing asbestos survey and air monitoring reports to be issued to clients Collecting bulk samples to be taken in for analysis Delivering support to clients and colleague queries when requested Attending monthly toolbox meetings and any requested training sessions to enhance professional development Assisting in the training of less experienced team members Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to commuting across London & Home Counties BOHS P402, P403 & P404/RSPH3 qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent knowledge of HSG: 264 Knowledge of TEAMS (or similar asbestos software) On offer is a competitive starting salary of up to £42,000 (dependent on experience), along with a benefits package which includes a company vehicle (car/van), fuel card, fantastic overtime rates (non-compulsory) and fantastic career prospects!
