Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager

£37k - £45k + Benefits Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos organisation, with contracts based across the UK, covering predominantly Commercial and Industrial client sites. Applicants must have a good standing of experience within the industry and be able to confidently lead teams of site staff across Surveying, Analytical and Remediation projects. You will be joining a professional outfit, who provide entirely bespoke services to their busy portfolio of clients in an efficient and impartial manner. It would be beneficial for candidates to have good access to the M25 in order to easily access client sites. They are offering excellent salaries and packages for the successful candidate.
Experience / Qualifications: You will have a proven track record working as an Asbestos Project Manager, overseeing a variation of Surveying, Analytical and Remediation projects Will hold the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications as a minimum (or RSPH equivalent) Must have extensive experience undertaking the full range of Asbestos Surveys and Analytical duties Excellent understanding of UKAS and HSG guidelines Strong written ability and IT proficiency Fantastic team management experience Good organisational skills Strong client-facing skills
The Role: You will be overseeing Asbestos Surveying, Analytical and Remediation projects of varying sizes Conducting quality checks and audits on surveying and analytical works to ensure industry compliance and high service standards Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, by providing updates and troubleshooting issues Handling the on-boarding process for new members of staff, including interviews and training Managing teams of site staff, assisting with any site issues and identifying areas for training Leading investigations into any identified anomalies and reported non-compliance Regularly attending meetings with clients on site to outline contractual requirements and discuss projects in detail Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of appointments Conducting Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys as well as re-inspections Undertaking 4 Stage Clearances as well as personal, leak, background and reassurance air monitoring Writing detailed project reports
