As an Asbestos Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • attend site and supervise asbestos removals on a variety of buildings commercial, industrial and residential premises.
  • effectively manage and supervision of all site works in accordance with the plan of works, risk assessment, operating procedures and regulations.
  • liaise with contract manager to ensure smooth operation of works.
  • ensure all operations/operatives carry out their duties in compliance with the regulatory requirements.
  • work within the Company Policies and Procedures to ensure achievement and maintenance of accreditations.
  • carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.
  • build and develop relationships and partnerships with key personnel and stakeholder, raising Amianto Services profile and reputation within the industry.
  • carry out all site works in accordance with the Risk Assessments, Method statements and within the company's Policies & Procedures.
  • develop the Groups commitment to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all works undertaken.
  • adhere with section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

To be successful in an Asbestos Supervisor role, the skills you will need:

  • Hold a valid CSCS Card.
  • Minimum of three years experience as a Supervisor in Asbestos industry.
  • Good knowledge of current H&S and asbestos regulations.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Hold a current Licensed Supervisors Asbestos Training Certificate.
  • Asbestos medical certificate.
  • Half mask and Full mask face fit.
  • Flexibility in approach to work in terms of evening and weekends as required.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
