Organisation: ASM Ltd are a well established, UKAS Accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working across the UK, primarily between Newcastle Upon Tyne and The Midlands, providing accredited services to a varied portfolio of clients. Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive (full-time) dual-skilled Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join our well established and growing team of consultants. As demand from our clients for inspection and testing across this region increases, we require an experienced consultant able to provide a high standard of accredited services, along with the ability to confidently consult our customer contacts on best practice regarding asbestos management. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of accredited asbestos inspections and testing. Location:

Sheffield, though surrounding areas will likely also be suitable. Most work will be in South Yorkshire, Chesterfield and Nottingham. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in Commercial and Industrial properties Reinspections of Known ACMs Air monitoring and fibre counting Undertaking 4-Stage Clearances Collecting site data using TEAMS software (training provided) Technically knowledgeable, with the ability to demonstrate a good understanding of industry specific guidance and legislation Strong client-facing skills Qualification Requirements: BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualified (or equivalent) Experience / Knowledge Requirements: Knowledge and understanding of HSG 264 / 248, and the ability to implement guidance on site Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative Professional and articulate, with good verbal and written communication skills Minimum of 3 years’ experience of asbestos site work Experience of TEAMS software is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
