This role as an Asbestos Surveyor requires specific qualifications that allow you to succeed; the most crucial requirement is to hold the P402 qualification. Other requirements that give you the edge over the competition include holding a full UK driver's license, strong knowledge of asbestos-related legislation, regulations, and guidelines, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient computer skills are necessary to complete all surveys to an exceptional level. As a result, you will have significant responsibilities like: Conducting thorough asbestos surveys in accordance with HSE guidelines. Recording accurate and detailed survey findings using digital or paper-based systems. Assessing the condition and risk of identified asbestos materials. Collaborating with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of asbestos legislation, industry standards, and best practices. Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
