Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Our Client is a respected name within the Asbestos industry, who have recently won new contracts in the East Anglia / South East region. They are seeking a qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor, who can efficiently undertake the full range of asbestos surveys to industry standards. You will ideally have strong Client-facing skills, as you will be representing the company whilst attending sites to undertake works. Due to the nature of the contracts, they can also consider those who hold further P Certificates and Analytical duties. They are offering excellent salaries and packages.
The Role: - You will be completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys across Public Sector, Commercial and Local Authority Client sites. - Collecting and bagging samples of suspected ACMs. - Ensuring to work in accordance with industry guidelines and health & safety standards. - Writing detailed survey reports and discussing findings directly with Clients. - Excellent further training and development opportunities. - Travelling as per company requirements.
Experience / Qualifications: - You will be currently working as an Asbestos Surveyor, or have strong previous experience. - Qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent). - It would be beneficial to hold further P-Certifications but not essential (such as P403 & P404). - Comfortable working to UKAS and HSG guidelines. - Experienced working across a range of Client sites. - IT proficient. - Good written and verbal skills.
