About us
We are committed to supporting the recruitment and retention of our Social Work staff. It is recognised by the Trust that many experienced Social Work staff are currently likely to be employed by local government organisations, and to ensure there is clarity over terms and conditions of employment, we offer National Joint Council Pay Scales to Social Workers we appoint, rather than NHS pay-scales. We have adopted the Greater Manchester Continuous Service Commitment which is used for recognising continuous service regarding annual leave, sickness, and maternity for moves within Greater Manchester.
