6 February 2025 We're recruiting for a Magazine and Digital Editorial Content Manager to join the team to lead the strategy, planning and execution of the Asda Magazine and digital editorial content. ***Please Note: This is a FTC covering a period of maternity leave*** “Everything about Asda”

Responsible for the strategy, planning & delivery of the Asda magazine and editorial content, ensuring alignment with the wider Asda marketing strategy, including the following key accountabilities: Accountable for Asda magazine & content agency management and day to day communication Responsible for leading the team to create and develop best in class content that answers business needs and grow Asda's overall brand Accountable for ensuring our publications content meets expectations set out in our guidelines and champions the tone of voice, creative style and objectives of the Magazine Responsible for coaching and leading the team to develop in their own roles to become subject matter experts, with a collaborative work ethic and team-player mindset Responsible for working with the team to ensure we have a robust insight and measurement plan to measure the effectiveness of our content and customer/reader reactions – and learn and adapt from the insight results Accountable for ensuring the budget is managed effectively, spotting opportunities for efficiencies and clearly communicating commentary in monthly P&Ls Support the team to share and celebrate content and publications work in key meetings such as marketing huddles and creative reviews Consider and spot opportunities for extension of editorial content, with demonstration of wider channel consideration to contribute to the greater effectiveness of our content Support the team to strengthen and maximise on the retail media relationship to drive revenue from our channels Support the wider content team across digital, social and general project planning when required Responsible for ensuring team objectives are set out, achievable and encourage each direct report to put IDPs in place to track their own progress Actively seeks out to better their knowledge and be a subject matter expert through agency collaborations and learnings “Let's find out about you” Strong attention to detail and creative eye A proven track record in managing agencies with the ability to inspire A broad understanding of marketing across publications, content and social, with a focus on engaging editorial content Ability to innovate and think outside the box Awareness and consideration of insight and measurement – and experience in interpreting results to adapt Excellent communication and influencing skills Ability to lead a team to land projects within reactive timescales Experience in coaching and leading a team within a fast paced environment The ability to multi-task and work in an agile and flexible manner Drive for spotting efficiencies and experienced in managing budgets “Find your everything at Asda” - bringing brighter living within everyone's reach #J-18808-Ljbffr
