About the Role: Hunter AHP is currently seeking a highly skilled Aseptic Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in Worcestershire. This ongoing full-time contract requires 5 days per week, with a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will have previous aseptic pharmacy experience and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and dispense aseptic products, including chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and other sterile medications. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques, maintaining the highest standards of practice. Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness of aseptic preparations. Contribute to the safe, efficient, and effective management of the aseptic services within the hospital. Support the pharmacy team in the preparation of clinical drug regimens, including chemotherapy and other high-risk drugs. Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Requirements: Previous aseptic pharmacy experience is essential. GPhC registration. Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and the preparation of sterile products. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow strict procedures and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full-time availability (5 days per week) for an ongoing contract.
