Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Why this role is ideal for you: This is the perfect opportunity for a Psychology or Health and Social Care graduate who is considering further studies, such as an MSc or Doctorate, or exploring a career in psychology. As an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist, you will be exposed to a variety of professionals, including therapists, SEN staff, ABA tutors, and mental health specialists, giving you insight into different approaches in SEN and mental health care. You will be part of a team in the education and training sector supporting students with complex needs, including Autism and SEMH, and will gain valuable experience to help you as an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist. What you'll be doing: Supporting students with a tailored curriculum, focusing on key and functional skills. Working with students of various abilities (small classes of 6-8) to foster learning and development. Contributing to the improvement of students' lives by providing them with a sense of purpose and direction in their education. Collaborating with therapists and mental health specialists to deliver targeted interventions. What we're looking for: Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field) or previous SEN experience. Strong interest in mental health and Autism. A keen interest in SEN and understanding of learning and behavioral needs, including SEMH. Ideally, a local candidate based near Radlett for an easy commute.
