Aspiring Clinical Therapist – September 2024 Are you interested in pursuing a career in clinical therapy? The school is looking for a recent criminology graduate with an interest in the psychology industry to join their staff in supporting students. While working as support staff, you will see how fostering trustworthy relationships and helping students learn regulation techniques will improve their quality of life and help them stay on a positive path in society. The role will include working with a selection of students, supporting them on a 1-1 basis throughout their school career. You will help them approach their individual challenges and unique requirements. As an Aspiring Clinical Therapist, you will receive helpful advice and guidance from psychologists and therapists on-site regarding therapeutic techniques, effective communication methods, and identifying trigger areas. The students at the school come from diverse backgrounds and have varying social, emotional, and mental health needs, so the successful candidate should be patient, versatile, and passionate about supporting the younger generation.
