We are looking for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to work within the Education and Training sector! This Aspiring Educational Psychologist position is based in Bedford. Start date: Role to start in September, for the duration of the 2024/2025 academic year. Use this experience to qualify and disqualify the SEN and Mental Health sectors. Ideal for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist in the Bedford area with a Psychology or Health and Social Care Graduate before committing to an MSc/Doctorate and Research Project. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, this role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors, and Mental Health specialists at work. This role is all about giving children a sense of purpose. Can you make children’s lives just that little bit better? Intermediate learning levels, a tailored curriculum for each student. Focus on learning needs and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills. 55 students, classes of 6-8 ranging in ability. £460-£500 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4:30. What is required for this role in the education and training sector? An Undergraduate Degree (preferable) and/or previous SEN experience, ideal for Criminology and Psychology Graduates. An interest in mental health and Autism. Knowledge, keen interest, or understanding of the range of different types of learning and behavioural needs (SEMH elements of the provision).
