As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and other support staff, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom. A flexible approach to the role is vital as you will need to support the classroom as a whole, as well as providing individual support to students when needed.

Education and Training Requirements for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist: An undergraduate degree (preferable) and/or prior experience with SEN - ideal for Criminology and Psychology graduates. A strong interest in mental health and Autism. Knowledge or keen interest in learning and behavioural needs, particularly SEMH.
