Aspiring Psychologist - Blackbird Leys
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic therapy support assistant to join a lovely supportive team at one of our highly regarded specialist schools in Blackbird Leys, Oxford.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in a supportive team, making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
In this role, you will provide specialised and tailored support to students who struggle with severe social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The students who attend this school also struggle with Autism and are between the ages of 4 and 16.
They each have individualised plans and interventions that require support in ensuring they are followed correctly.
The intervention will focus on promoting age-appropriate skills and milestones.
You will help the children promote and work on any skills they may have lost as a result of their Autism or mental health struggles.
A positive and empathetic attitude is essential to succeed in this role.
Understanding the importance of safeguarding is crucial.
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment will benefit you in this role.
