Aspiring Psychologist – Mental Health – Luton Start date: June or September depending on your notice period or university completion. You must be sincere and understand why you want to work with Autistic students and children with potential mental health challenges. This will involve working with verbal and nonverbal students. This role will allow you to see a range of therapists, SEN, ABA Tutors & Mental health specialists at work. This is a fantastic training ground for aspirations within mainstream and SEN teaching, observing OTs and Speech and Language Therapists at work. This role is all about giving the children a sense of purpose. Can you make the children’s lives just that little bit better? Key Information:

Specialist School for children aged 7-19, tailored curriculum for each student through positive reinforcement. Intermediate learning levels, tailored curriculum for each student. Focus on ADHD, Asperger’s, OCD, Dyslexia, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges. Outstanding teaching and support teams in place, creating a wonderfully holistic and positive atmosphere – EYFS to KS4. OTs, Speech and Language Specialists, and other outside agencies will be involved based on each child's context. Focus on learning needs and Autism, delivering key and personal/functional skills. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. This is a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role that will place you in challenging, sometimes anti-social contexts that will build your foundational experience. The role specializes in working with students who have Autism, Asperger’s, OCD, Global Development Delay, and some profound and multiple learning difficulties. Please note:
