Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Guildford - Education and Training We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support children with moderate learning difficulties and associated behaviours. No previous experience is required. Interviews are now taking place. The School:

This school is located in Guildford and caters to up to 150 children aged 4-19, who require the support of a specialised curriculum to thrive and reach their full potential. The school has a Therapy Department consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists, making it ideal for an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist. Job Role and Responsibilities: Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience for students Provide behaviour and pastoral support Build robust and effective relationships with students Adopt a practical approach to meet the individual needs of students Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be caring, compassionate, and a good listener Willingness to work 1:1 and in small groups with students Ensure the safeguarding of students Attend staff meetings and complete appropriate CPD Additional Information: Start date ASAP, with trial days to ensure the role and school are right for you Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students £80-£90 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, term time only No previous experience is required If you have a Psychology, Criminology, or Social Science degree, this is an excellent use of your degree You MUST have the right to work in the UK to apply - no Visa sponsorship Apply now for the Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist - Guildford - Education and Training or contact Georgina Sutton at Academics Ltd.
