Job Description

Sedgemoor Manor School is recruiting for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy team!

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.

Will consider candidates looking for full-time or part-time hours within term-time. Sedgemoor Manor is a specialist day school for young people who have needs associated with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum/SPLD and are aged between 10 and 18 years. Our tailored approach means we are able to support young people with a wide range of learning difficulties. We accept that young people who are referred to us may have previously experienced a 'cycle of failure' and our aim is to have a transformational impact on their lives by them experiencing a 'culture of success'. We support all young people to achieve successful outcomes so that they can progress to experience fulfilling and rewarding lives. We offer bespoke packages of education and therapy for our young people. We strongly believe that some individuals will always struggle to 'fit in' to existing structures and will only thrive when their provision is tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
