Temp to perm £12.00-12.50/hr subject to experience
Working Hours and Rate of Pay: Manufacturing job Day shift, 38hrs/wk
Main Duties to Include:
Work to a job list, though jobs and demand vary from day to day as set by the department supervisor. Follow written work instructions. Follow Health and safety procedures - use of suits, gloves, respirators, safety shoes, local extraction. Require a flexible approach to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential. Observe high level of cleanliness. Use of hand tools (measure to length, use side cutters, spanners, Allen keys, etc.). Detailed repeatable soldering, cutting, and stripping cable, handling small components. Good physical health and eyesight. Moving finished items up to 10kg, down a stairwell. Weighing out and mixing epoxy resin and hardener. Ultrasonic clean and preparing moulds and components. Apply release agent and assembly. Use of vacuum systems to fill moulds with resin. Align and glue components. Follow detailed inspection procedure looking for: air bubbles, marks, inclusions, cracks, dents, scratches, cleanliness, and performing electrical insulation & continuity testing. Write concessions and mark-up works orders when required. Packing finished goods. On the job training will be given.

We are still based in Dunmow but will relocate to Braintree in Spring 2025!
