We're working with a global leader in aerospace manufacturing to find skilled Assembly/Mechanical Fitters for their Gloucester site. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge technology, collaborating with Airbus to develop high-precision components for the next generation of aircraft.
The Role:
Assemble and test aerospace components to the highest industry standards. Complete administrative tasks to support project success. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings. Utilize your fitting/assembly experience (aerospace preferred, but other industries considered).
What We're Looking For:
Completion of a full engineering apprenticeship or a Level 3 qualification in an engineering-related discipline. Hands-on experience in fitting or assembly, with a high level of attention to detail.
What's on Offer:
Salary: Starting at £37,300, with shift allowances bringing earnings to approximately £44k. Shifts: Rotating 2-week pattern of days, lates, and nights. Shift Premiums: 38.5% for nights, 39.75% for lates. Permanent position with clear opportunities for long-term career development. Location: Gloucester.
