The Recruitment Group is hiring! Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Crick (NN6) currently looking for Assembly Operatives to join their team! Responsibilities as an Assembly Operative: Locate, pick and issue parts to works orders, from good warehouse locations. Prepare a works order picked kit for production. Check accuracy of parts transacted and ensure parts are correctly issued; a high level of accuracy is essential. Locate completed kit into warehouse racking, storing all kits by shipset order. Ensure safe use of machinery such as forklift or reach truck, and adhere to all health & safety guidelines at all times in the warehouse and when in other areas. Coordinate and perform stock counts of picked shipsets when required. Carry out stock counts when requested by the Warehouse Supervisor. Conduct a short investigation of missing parts before reporting to the Warehouse Leader or Senior Warehouse Inventory operator. Skills required as an Assembly Operative: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy of work at all times. Experience in a warehouse environment is essential. Able to work under pressure without compromising on quality. Capable of operating transaction/kitting equipment and ASC. Must have good communication skills. The details: £11.50 per hour (increasing to £12.65 per hour after completing 12 weeks). Day shift. 07:30 – 16:00 (Monday to Thursday) & 07:30 – 13:00 (Fridays). Temporary ongoing positions.
