A component manufacturing company based in Great Dunmow is looking for an assembly operative to assist in their parts department. You will ideally have some experience within assembly or manufacturing; however, other relatable experience will be considered.
Please note the company will be relocating to Braintree early 2025, so you must be able to commute to Braintree. This will be to a brand new purpose-built site!
Starting salary will be up to £12.50ph depending on experience. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, with an early finish on a Friday! The company also has an annual bonus based on company profits!
Assembly Operative duties include:
Using hand tools such as cutters and spanners Soldering and cutting/stripping cables Following detailed inspection procedures Lifting and moving heavy boxes of finished products Using vacuums to fill moulds The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be keen to learn, as you will be working within a busy environment. You will need to be physically fit as there will be an element of heavy lifting within the role.
