Morley The company is a market-leading vehicle-building company. Due to growth within the business, they require a team leader to support their continued growth in the sub-assembly department. The sub-assembly department builds metal cabinets and drawers that are then fitted into the vehicles. The role involves leading a team of 6 people. This position has become available due to an internal promotion within the company. The position would suit individuals with experience leading or supervising teams in a fast-paced assembly manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Team Leader:

Organise the day-to-day duties of your team. Oversee that the loading on each team member contributes to the overall goal of the team. Ensure that the booking of production hours is performed correctly. Identify and rectify any problems which may arise. Escalate issues to front-line management if necessary. Coordinate the work of the team with other departments to ensure efficiency. Look ahead to immediate future build requirements and ensure enough consumables and 'Bought for Job' parts are available from the stores. Attend daily Gemba walks and actively update the workshop job boards. Participate in pre-build meetings as required. This list of duties is not exhaustive; other duties may be added from time to time. Key Requirements of the Vehicle Builder (Team Leader) Role:

Relevant previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role. Self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Good organisational skills. Ability to work and make decisions under pressure.
