This full time, permanent position will focus on drawing in local community assets to support the delivery of recovery focussed outcomes, promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions in the hub reception areas. Work as an integral part of the service in delivering high quality interventions within the hub. Work with and support the Inclusion multi-disciplinary team. Facilitate harm reduction interventions. Support service users who are attending the reception area of the service. Contribute to service users working collaboratively to build their recovery capital and ensure positive recovery outcomes. Ensure service users have scheduled appointments and remove barriers to attendance. Promote visible recovery in the hub, especially in reception areas. Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community. Ensure that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation. Evidence of continuous professional development. Willingness to undertake NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Experience and Knowledge
Understanding and awareness of the effects of substance misuse on an individual and the community. A sound experience of working with techniques such as CBT, Motivational interviewing and Solution focused therapy. Skills and Abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
