Social Worker - Family Assessment Centre
Make a Difference in Vulnerable Lives Family Assessment Centres play a crucial role in protecting children. We're looking for a passionate Social Worker to join a established team and complete
residential parenting assessments
for children involved in court proceedings. What you'll do: Conduct thorough assessments with families, working alongside Family Support Workers both in-house and within the community. Build strong relationships with families to ensure fair and evidence-based reports. Develop and deliver support interventions to help parents improve their parenting skills. Provide expert witness testimony in court.
What we're looking for: A registered Social Worker (SWE) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children and families in a statutory setting. Proven experience in completing robust parenting assessments and safe practice techniques. Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
