Assessment Solutions Officers

to join our Assessment Solutions Team. As Assessment Solutions Officer you'll have responsibility for the design, development, and performance of valid and reliable assessments within the NCFE portfolio. Through a cross-functional role, you'll also need to ensure that assessments developed by NCFE and associated brands are appealing to learners and employers and are manageable for those delivering the qualification. You'll also contribute to ensuring compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to qualification assessment and for ensuring that appropriate criteria are met for funding and recognition. How you'll make an impact: Responsible for commissioning assessment production work with subject matter experts and monitoring progress for accuracy, quality, and timeliness. Collaborating with colleagues from Assessment Delivery on the creation and secure storage of assessment material. Leading on the production of accurate, high-quality sample and live assessments for qualifications/subjects assigned. Responsible for performance managing subject matter experts in terms of assessment production work. Commissioning, directing, and standardising the work of Assessment Associates. We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following: Experience of qualification, assessment, and curriculum design assessment principles. Knowledge of current developments in education and assessment. Experience of dealing with externally set and marked assessment. Strong organisation skills, able to prioritise and maintain a high standard of accuracy while working in a busy environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling. Track record working with Awarding Organisations which offer external assessment. Educated to at least Level 3 standard or equivalent. What will we offer you in return?
